Nutrition for your Skin and Mind

How can nutrition help both your skin and mind? I’m talking inner and outer beauty for real.

When it comes to nutrition, those two can almost not be separated. Optimal functioning for our body and mind requires all the micro and macronutrients we can squeeze in. It means we’re more alive, and that shows outwardly.

When we’re healthy, well-nourished, our skin glows. We feel great and we look great.

Nutrition should come from whole foods first and foremost. But with the tampering we’ve done with our food sources it’s exceptionally challenging, and/or expensive, to get optimal nutrition from whole foods.

Supplementation can help a lot. Whether that be a protein shake, a green powder for said shake, or a mental cocktail of goodness like CogniQ which helps engineer healthy, sharp, focused mind.

For The Men: Dull Skin? Then How Are Your Testosterone Levels?

This fine piece of word-smithery is aimed at the guys in my audience. Or, perhaps the ladies who want to share these words of wisdom with their other halves.

Dudes are not the most care-giving when it comes to their skin. Typically that is. Did you know dull prematurely ageing skin can result from more than lack of exfoliating and moisturising.

Nutrient levels and other health markers can play a super important role in having fab male skin.

What’s one of the main missing ingredients? Testosterone!

As guys get on into their 30’s signs of ageing start to kick in. Typically we associate that with lower energy (in and out of bed), but the skin (the largest organ of the body) takes its toll too.

There are a million and one ways to increase testosterone from lifting weights, to hearing the engine of muscle cars roar. And then there’s TRT or natural supplements for increasing or maintaining testosterone levels. Supplements like Spartagen XT. For that particular supplement you can get an unbiased review over at

Before assuming there’s a low t-level issue of course, speak to your doctor and find out what your results are. You could be doing just fine!

Is This The Ultimate Anti-Aging Skin Cream?

When it comes to facial skin care, recommendations and ‘best practice’ usually leave us drowning in a bathroom full of products.

  • Under eye cream
  • Over eye cream
  • Lip balm
  • Day cream
  • Night cream
  • Firming anti-aging cream

Not to mention cleansers, toners, scrubs, exfoliators, pore cleaners.

One product claims to eliminate the bloat. Its name? LifeCell.

LifeCell claims to be an all-in-one anti-age skin solution. It can be applied to the entire face, including lips, neck, eyes, behind the ears. And should be applied morning and night (day and night creams in one):

The only extra thing you need is a good facial soap to clean and prepare your skin before application.

I’ve literally just started using this, 3 days ago at the time of writing, and so far I’m impressed. It’s the first cream that I’ve used that feels like it’s done something actively. And that should be the case, it’s a pharmaceutical grade cream.
